Meet the Team
Three Ways to Reach Us
Pick whichever suits how you like to work. All three reach the same team, and none of them commits you to anything.
Write a short note
Four lines at the top of this page: your name, your business, what you would love help with, and where to write back. It takes about a minute.
Book a discovery call
Pick a time that suits you and talk it through with our team. Book a call.
Send the full project brief
If you already know the details, the longer brief further down this page asks about your start date, the type of project, and your goals, so the first conversation can go further.
Whichever you choose, the next step is the same: a member of our team replies personally within 24 hours, and the consultation is free.
What Happens After You Reach Out
Hiring an agency should not feel like a leap. Here is the order things happen in, from your first note to a written scope.
You send a note or book a call
Use the short note, the full project brief, or the discovery call. Tell us as much or as little as you like at this stage.
We reply within 24 hours
A member of our team writes back personally to learn more about your vision, your goals, and what is next for your business.
A free consultation
We look at your current website, social profiles, and ads, talk through your goals, and tell you where we would start and why.
Scope and price, in writing
Every website and branding project is quoted individually, and we confirm scope in writing after the consultation. Ongoing marketing is scoped the same way, around your goals, platforms, and budget.
A schedule we set together
Timelines depend heavily on how quickly content and feedback come together, so we set a schedule together at the start.
What You Can Hire Us For
Most clients start with one service and add others once the first is working. Each has its own page with the full detail.
Website design and development
Custom sites on the platform that fits your business, designed mobile first. Many projects are redesigns: we keep what is working, including pages that already earn search traffic, and rebuild what is not.
Brand styling
Logos, color palettes, typography, and brand photography, so everything you publish looks like it came from the same company.
Social media marketing
We plan, design, write, and edit the content, and run your channels across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
Paid ads on Google and Meta
Campaigns planned around tracking, creative, and your budget, with a monthly report that says what the ads produced and what changes next.
SEO
Technical fixes, content, and local search work. Local, national, and ecommerce SEO each get their own plan.
Video and photography
Our video and photography is shot by Sam Reynold, our videographer and photographer. Sam works with us in Naples and Charleston and travels for shoots as needed. One planned shoot can supply your website, your social channels, and your ads.
Which Service Should You Start With?
Start from the problem instead of the service. These are the situations we hear most often and where we would usually begin. The consultation is where we confirm it.
You have no website, or one you avoid sharing
Start with the website. Ads and social posts both send people there, so a site that is slow, dated, or hard to use on a phone wastes the attention you are paying for.
Your brand looks different everywhere
Start with brand styling. One logo, palette, and type system makes every later piece faster to produce and easier to recognize.
You post regularly and nothing comes of it
Organic posts on their own now reach only a small share of the people who follow you. Start with a plan that pairs social content with paid distribution. Our guide explains why, with sources.
Your ads spend money and the leads do not match
Start with an account review. We look at tracking, campaign structure, and search terms first, because automated bidding learns from whatever conversions you count.
People cannot find you on Google
Start with SEO. Technical fixes usually show first; content and authority build over months.
You want one team for all of it
Ask about Full Service Marketing, which puts social media, email, website updates, and blog strategy in one plan.
Most businesses recognize themselves in more than one of these. That is normal, and it is why we start with a conversation and not a package.
How to Prepare for Your Consultation
You do not need a formal brief or a spreadsheet. A few things make the first conversation far more useful for you.
One goal you can measure
More booked consultations, more online orders, a lower cost per lead. One clear number is more useful than a list of ten wishes.
Access, or at least a look
Your website, your social profiles, and any ad accounts. If you have analytics or past reports, bring those too.
What you have already tried
Past agencies, campaigns, and freelancers, and what worked or did not. It keeps us from proposing something you have already ruled out.
Brand files, if they exist
Logos, fonts, colors, and photography. If you have none, that is useful to know, and it shapes where we start.
A rough budget range and timeline
A range is enough. It lets us recommend a scope that fits, instead of one you have to cut down later.
Who decides
If more than one person signs off on marketing, bring them to the call or agree beforehand who decides. It shortens every step that follows.
None of this is required. If all you have is a business and a problem, write the note and we will work out the rest together.
Questions Worth Asking Any Agency
Ask us these, and ask anyone else you are considering. The answers tell you more than a portfolio does.
Who owns the accounts?
You should. We recommend keeping every ad account in your business's name, with agency access granted as a user, so the data, history, and billing stay with you no matter who manages the campaigns. The same goes for your domain and analytics.
What do you guarantee?
Be careful with anyone who promises rankings, follower counts, or viral posts. We do not guarantee them, and our service pages say so.
What will the report tell me?
A report should answer whether the work produced customers at a cost you can afford, and note what will change next month. Pages of impressions and clicks do not do that.
Is the scope in writing?
You should know what is included, what is not, and what happens if the scope changes, before any work begins.
Who does the work?
Ask who writes, designs, shoots, and manages the account. Here the ads, the creative, and the landing page are planned by one team.
What happens if we part ways?
If the accounts are in your name, you keep the data and the history. Confirm in writing what happens to the creative files.
How will we communicate?
Ask how often you will hear from the team and who your contact is. You should have a named person and a regular report.
What do you need from me?
Good work depends on timely content, access, and feedback from you. An agency that asks for nothing up front is guessing.
We are glad to answer every one of these on the first call.
What the First Months Usually Look Like
No two projects run the same way, and none of this is a promise of results. It is the order we work in, taken from our service pages.
A website project
Discovery, design, build, and launch. Most service business sites take several weeks from discovery to launch, and larger ecommerce or content-heavy sites take longer.
A paid ads account
Audit and goals, then tracking, then build and launch. Search campaigns can start producing leads within days of launch, but the first weeks are a learning period while we gather data on search terms, audiences, and creative.
Social media
A plan for the platforms your customers use, then content we plan, design, write, and edit. For photos and video of your team, space, or work, we either direct a shoot, use footage you capture with our guidance, or work from your existing library.
SEO
Technical fixes come first and usually show first. Google says some changes take effect in a few hours and others take several months, so content and authority are measured over months, not days.
What It Costs
Most of our clients invest roughly $1,200 to $4,000 a month in marketing, often across more than one channel; platforms, markets, ad spend and scope move the number.
Every website and branding project is quoted individually. The final investment depends on the number of pages, ecommerce needs, integrations, and copywriting, and we confirm scope in writing after a free consultation.
For paid ads, the ad budget itself is separate. We estimate a starting budget during the consultation and adjust once real conversion data comes in.
The People You Would Work With
A small team, so the person you talk to on the first call is close to the work.
Kali Kirkland, Founder and Creative Director
Kali founded Ambrose Marketing to help women-owned and women-led brands in wellness, healthcare, and luxury services grow with design and marketing that feel as considered as their work. She leads strategy and creative for the agency.
Jamie Kloncz, SEO Strategist and Partner
Jamie leads search strategy and reviews the service pages on this site for accuracy before they are published.
Sam Reynold, Videographer and Photographer
Sam shoots the video and photography for our clients. He works with us in Naples and Charleston and travels for shoots as needed.
Who We Work With, and Where
We work with founders and service-based businesses. Ambrose Marketing is headquartered in Manhattan, and our team is currently based in Naples, Florida. We also work in Charleston, South Carolina, and with brands nationwide.
