Why Choose Us as Your Email Agency Near You?
Your business deserves more than a copy-paste approach to email marketing. In today’s fast-moving digital world, you need a team that understands how to turn inboxes into income, through strategy, segmentation, and standout content. At Ambrose Marketing, we specialize in building email ecosystems that support every stage of the customer journey, from welcome flows and nurture sequences to product launches and re-engagement campaigns. We craft on-brand content, leverage smart automation, and analyze performance so every send serves a purpose. While we handle the strategy and execution, you can focus on scaling your business with confidence.
The One Channel You Own Outright
Social platforms can change their algorithm overnight and ad costs rise every season. Your email list belongs to you. When it is built with permission and treated with respect, it becomes the steadiest source of repeat business a brand has.
Permission is the foundation
People who chose to hear from you are already warm. Every flow we build starts from a clear signup promise, so subscribers get what they asked for and stay subscribed.
Automation does the quiet work
Welcome series, abandoned cart reminders, post-purchase follow-ups, and win-back messages run in the background every day, reaching people at the moment they are most likely to act.
Inbox rules got stricter
Since 2024, Gmail and Yahoo have required bulk senders to authenticate their mail, offer one-click unsubscribe, and keep spam complaints low (Google; Yahoo). Brands that ignored the technical setup saw campaigns land in spam. We start every engagement there.
Open rates are no longer the score
Apple Mail Privacy Protection hides subscribers' IP addresses and downloads remote content privately in the background when a message arrives, instead of when it is read (Apple). That makes opens unreliable, so we judge email by clicks, orders, bookings, and revenue.
Email Marketing Services
Most brands need a few strong automated flows before they need more campaigns. We build the foundation first, then add regular sends that support your calendar.
Welcome series
Three to five messages that introduce your story, your best products or services, and what makes you different, timed so new subscribers learn who you are before you ask for the sale.
Abandoned cart and browse flows
Reminders for shoppers who left something behind, with the product they viewed, honest urgency, and no fake countdown timers.
Post-purchase and post-visit follow-up
Care instructions, how-to content, review requests, and refill or rebooking reminders that turn one purchase into a relationship.
Win-back and sunset flows
A thoughtful check-in for people who have gone quiet, followed by removing those who stay inactive, which protects your sender reputation.
Monthly campaigns
Launches, seasonal offers, education, and brand stories planned on a calendar with your social and website content, so every channel tells the same story.
Segmentation
Separate journeys for first-time buyers, repeat customers, VIPs, and people who browse but never buy, so each message is relevant to the person reading it.
Signup forms and list growth
Forms and pop-ups with a clear reason to join and a promise you keep. We never buy or rent lists; purchased addresses damage deliverability and break trust.
Design and copywriting
On-brand templates that read well on a phone, with copy written in your voice and alt text on every image for subscribers who use screen readers.
Klaviyo setup and migration
Account setup, integrations with Shopify or Squarespace, and careful migration from another platform, carrying over consent records and suppression lists, not just addresses.
Getting Into the Inbox, Step by Step
Great copy does nothing in a spam folder. These are the technical steps we check before the first campaign goes out.
1. Authenticate your domain
Gmail requires every sender to set up SPF or DKIM, and senders of about 5,000 or more messages a day to personal Gmail accounts must use SPF, DKIM, and DMARC, with the From domain aligned to SPF or DKIM (Google). Google notes that a sender that crosses that line once is considered a bulk sender permanently (Google).
2. Publish a DMARC policy
Yahoo asks bulk senders to publish a valid DMARC policy of at least p=none, and requires that DMARC pass (Yahoo). We start with monitoring, read the reports, and tighten the policy once every legitimate sender is accounted for.
4. Watch the complaint rate
Google recommends keeping the spam rate reported in Postmaster Tools below 0.1 percent and warns that 0.3 percent or higher hurts inbox delivery even more (Google). Relevant content, a clear frequency, and regular list cleaning keep it low.
5. Warm up and monitor
New domains and dedicated sending setups are introduced gradually to engaged subscribers first. We watch bounces, complaints, and placement every week during the first months.
Email Rules We Follow for Every Client
Email marketing law is short but strict, and responsibility stays with the brand. The FTC is explicit that even if you hire another company to handle your email, you cannot contract away your legal responsibility (FTC). This is general information, not legal advice.
Honest headers and subject lines
Under CAN-SPAM, From, To, Reply-To, and routing information must be accurate, and subject lines must reflect the content of the message (FTC).
A real postal address
Commercial emails must include a valid physical postal address, such as a street address, a registered post office box, or a private mailbox registered under Postal Service rules (FTC).
An easy way out
Every marketing email needs a clear opt-out, and requests must be honored within 10 business days under federal law (FTC). Mailbox providers expect much faster, so we process them right away.
Identify promotional messages
CAN-SPAM requires clear and conspicuous disclosure that a commercial message is an advertisement, with some flexibility in how (FTC). We keep promotions recognizable and never disguise a sale as a personal note.
Transactional emails stay transactional
Order confirmations and account notices are largely exempt from most CAN-SPAM requirements, but they still need truthful routing information (FTC). We keep heavy promotion out of them so they keep their status and their trust.
Text messages need written consent
If you add SMS, Florida law generally requires prior express written consent before sending automated marketing texts, and a business must stop texting within 15 days after a recipient replies STOP (F.S. 501.059). Federal rules apply too, so we build consent capture before the first text goes out.
The Email Numbers We Report, and Why
A monthly report should tell you whether email is growing the business, not just whether messages went out. These are the measures we put in front of you, in the order we think they matter.
Revenue or bookings per recipient
Total revenue or booked appointments attributed to a send, divided by the number of people who received it. It rewards relevance over volume, so a smaller, well-targeted send can beat a blast to the whole list.
Click rate and click-to-conversion
Clicks show genuine interest, and what happens after the click shows whether the landing page and offer did their job. When clicks are healthy but sales are not, the fix is usually on the website, not in the inbox.
Flow performance over time
Automated flows earn money every day without new effort, so we track each one separately. A welcome series that slips month over month is an early warning that the signup promise and the content no longer match.
List growth and list health
New subscribers by source, minus unsubscribes, bounces, and long-term inactives. A list can look bigger every month while the engaged part quietly shrinks; we report both numbers so you see the real trend.
Unsubscribes and spam complaints
Unsubscribes are normal and healthy. Spam complaints are not. Google recommends keeping the spam rate in Postmaster Tools below 0.1 percent (Google), so a rising rate gets our attention before it becomes a deliverability problem.
Deliverability signals
Bounce rates, authentication results from DMARC reports, and inbox placement checks across major mailbox providers. These rarely make headlines in a report, but they decide whether the rest of the numbers are possible.
Opens still appear in most platforms, and we will show them to you. We simply do not make decisions on them, because privacy features can count an email as opened before anyone reads it.

Email Marketing Questions, Answered
How often should we email our list?
As often as you have something genuinely useful to say. For most brands that is one to four campaigns a month on top of automated flows. We watch unsubscribes and complaints after each send and adjust frequency based on how your subscribers respond.
Why did our emails start going to spam?
Often it is missing authentication, a high complaint rate, or old inactive addresses. Gmail requires SPF or DKIM for all senders and SPF, DKIM, and DMARC for bulk senders, and recommends keeping spam rates below 0.1 percent (Google; Google). We check all three first.
What is DMARC, and do we need it?
DMARC is a DNS record that tells mailbox providers how to handle mail that fails authentication checks for your domain. Gmail requires it for bulk senders, and Yahoo asks for at least p=none with a passing result (Google; Yahoo). It also helps stop others from spoofing your domain.
Are open rates still useful?
Less than they used to be. Apple Mail Privacy Protection downloads remote content privately in the background when a message arrives, which can make an email look opened even if it was never read (Apple). Clicks, conversions, and revenue per recipient are more reliable.
Can we buy an email list to grow faster?
We do not recommend it and will not send to one. Purchased addresses did not agree to hear from you, generate complaints and bounces, and can damage deliverability for your whole list. Organic growth through forms, offers, and content is slower but lasts.
What does CAN-SPAM require?
Accurate headers, honest subject lines, identification of ads, a valid physical postal address, a clear way to opt out, and honoring opt-outs within 10 business days. The FTC also notes that you remain responsible even when an agency sends on your behalf (FTC).
Do you work in Klaviyo?
Yes. Klaviyo is our preferred platform for ecommerce and many service brands, and we also work in other common email platforms when moving would not be worth the disruption.
Can you add text messages?
Yes, with consent built in from the start. Florida generally requires prior express written consent for automated marketing texts and requires a business to stop within 15 days after someone replies STOP (F.S. 501.059). We set up compliant opt-in language and keep consent records.
How do you measure email results?
Revenue or bookings attributed to each flow and campaign, click rate, list growth, unsubscribes, and complaint rate. We report monthly and explain what changed and what we will test next.
How much does email marketing cost?
Ongoing email can run on its own or inside our Full Service Marketing plan. Most of our clients invest roughly $1,200 to $4,000 a month in marketing, often across more than one channel. One-off projects such as a flow build or a platform migration are quoted separately after a free consultation.
