# Dental Marketing Agency: Attract More Patients & Grow Your Practice Nationwide

#### *Marketing for dentists, orthodontists, oral surgeons, pediatric dentistry, and cosmetic dental practices*

**Ambrose Marketing** helps dental practices attract the patients they want to see more of, from families looking for a new general dentist to adults comparing implant and cosmetic options. We build websites, Google Business Profiles, review programs, and content around how patients actually choose a dentist today.

Every campaign we write for a Florida practice is checked against the state’s dental advertising rules, so your marketing grows the practice without putting your license at risk.

## What our clients are saying…

## Why Dental Practices Choose Ambrose Marketing in 2026?

Choosing a dentist is a trust decision. In the ADA’s 2024 consumer survey, 59% of people said reviews affect which dentist they choose, 47% chose their dentist through a referral from friends or family, and 48% had visited their dentist’s website. Trust was the top reason patients stay with a practice.

That means the work that matters most is not clever advertising. It is a complete, accurate Google Business Profile, a steady stream of honest reviews, a website that answers real questions about treatment and insurance, and follow-up that keeps patients coming back.

Dentistry also has rules most marketers never learn. Florida law bars dental ads from making laudatory statements about the dentist, comparing the quality of care to other practices, or creating unjustified expectations of results, and it limits who can advertise as a specialist. We build those rules into every page, post, and ad we create.

Our team is woman-owned and based in Naples, with an office in Manhattan, and we work with general, cosmetic, pediatric, and specialty practices across Southwest Florida and the country.

What is changing
## How Patients Choose a Dentist Today

These are the shifts we plan around, all from the American Dental Association, the CDC, and the U.S. Census Bureau.

### Patients check reviews before they call

In the ADA’s 2024 survey of 1,008 consumers, 59% said reviews affect their choice of dentist and 57% said they have a preferred dentist ([ADA](https://www.ada.org/-/media/project/ada-organization/ada/ada-org/files/about/press-releases/2024_trend_report.pdf)). A practice with few or outdated reviews loses patients it never knew it had.

### Group practices and DSOs are growing

The share of dentists affiliated with a dental support organization more than doubled from 7.2% in 2015 to 16.1% in 2024, and about one quarter of Florida dentists are DSO affiliated ([ADA Health Policy Institute](https://www.ada.org/-/media/project/ada-organization/ada/ada-org/files/resources/research/hpi/US_dentist_workforce_2025.pdf)). Independent practices need a clear local brand to compete.

### Many adults delay care

In the same ADA survey, 36% of people had not seen a dentist in two years, and cost was the top reason ([ADA](https://www.ada.org/-/media/project/ada-organization/ada/ada-org/files/about/press-releases/2024_trend_report.pdf)). Clear information about insurance, financing, and what a first visit costs removes a common reason patients put off booking.

### Older patients are a large, active audience

In 2022, 63.7% of adults 65 and older had a dental visit in the past year, rising to 69.6% among those with dental coverage ([CDC NCHS](https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/products/databriefs/db500.htm)). In the City of Naples, 55.8% of residents are 65 or older ([U.S. Census Bureau](https://www.census.gov/quickfacts/fact/table/colliercountyflorida,naplescityflorida/PST045224)), so implants, dentures, and restorative care deserve real space on your website.

## Different Practices, Different Patients

The right plan depends on the kind of dentistry you practice. This is how we adjust our approach.

- **General and family dentistry**Families want convenience: location, hours, insurance accepted, and how easy it is to book. Clear practical information and strong local visibility matter more than anything flashy.
- **Pediatric dentistry**Parents are the audience. Show the office, introduce the team, and explain what a first visit is like for a nervous child. Pediatric dentistry is a recognized specialty, so only qualified pediatric dentists may use the specialist title.
- **Orthodontics**About 5% of U.S. dentists are orthodontists ([ADA Health Policy Institute](https://www.ada.org/-/media/project/ada-organization/ada/ada-org/files/resources/research/hpi/US_dentist_workforce_2025.pdf)), and families compare several before committing to a long treatment plan. Clear pricing ranges, financing, and a free consultation offer stated within the fee rules help.
- **Oral surgery and implants**Most patients arrive by referral or after searching for a specific procedure, so referring-dentist relationships and detailed procedure pages carry more weight than broad brand campaigns.
- **Cosmetic dentistry**Cosmetic dentistry is not a recognized specialty, so a general dentist promoting it needs the Florida disclaimer. Real before-and-after photos, used with written consent, are the most persuasive content you can publish.

What we do
## Dental Marketing Services Built Around Your Patients

General dentists, orthodontists, oral surgeons, pediatric dentists, and cosmetic practices all need slightly different things. These are the core services we tailor to each.

### Local SEO and Google Business Profile

Patients usually find a dentist in the Map Pack. We complete and maintain your practice profile, use your real business name without keyword stuffing, and set up practitioner profiles for public-facing dentists as Google’s [guidelines](https://support.google.com/business/answer/3038177) allow. Google ranks local results on relevance, distance, and prominence, and notes that more reviews and positive ratings can help ([Google](https://support.google.com/business/answer/7091)).
Local SEO in Naples

### A website patients can use

Clear pages for each service, your insurance and financing options, new patient forms, and online booking where your software supports it. Fast loading and accessible design matter, because nearly half of patients have visited their dentist’s website.
Website design

### Treatment pages that answer real questions

Implants, clear aligners, veneers, whitening, sedation, and emergency care each deserve a page explaining who it is for, what happens at each visit, and what recovery looks like. Plain, accurate answers build trust and are what search engines and AI assistants quote.
Dental SEO and AI search

### Reviews and reputation

A simple process to ask every satisfied patient for a review and to respond to each one without confirming that the reviewer is a patient or sharing any treatment details.

### Recall, reactivation, and email

Reminder sequences, reactivation for patients overdue for a cleaning, and short educational emails that keep your hygiene schedule full.
Email marketing

### Social media that stays compliant

Short videos that introduce your team, explain procedures, and show your office help nervous patients feel comfortable before they arrive. Every caption follows the same Florida rules as your ads, with no superlatives, no promised outcomes, and no patient content without written consent.
Social media marketing

### Paid search for high-value treatments

Targeted Google Ads for implant, emergency, and cosmetic searches, with call tracking so you can see which ads bring in booked patients. Every ad is written to meet Florida’s advertising rules, including fee disclaimers.

## Dental Advertising Rules We Build Into Every Campaign

Most marketing agencies do not know these rules. These are the Florida requirements we follow for every dental client. Practices in other states have similar rules, and we check them before we launch. This is general information, not legal advice.

### No laudatory or comparative claims

Florida Statutes section 466.019 bars dental ads from containing laudatory statements about the dentist, statements comparing the quality of care to other practices, or anything likely to create unjustified expectations of favorable results ([Florida Legislature](http://www.leg.state.fl.us/statutes/index.cfm?App_mode=Display_Statute&URL=0400-0499/0466/Sections/0466.019.html)). Superlatives like "best dentist in Naples" do not belong in your ads or social posts.

### Websites and social media count

The statute defines an advertisement to include websites and social media, not just print. The same rules apply to your Instagram captions, Google posts, and paid ads.

### Specialist titles are restricted

Only dentists with qualifying specialty training may hold themselves out as specialists. A general dentist who promotes an area of emphasis, such as implants or cosmetic dentistry, must include the disclaimer required by section 466.0282 ([Florida Legislature](http://www.leg.state.fl.us/statutes/index.cfm?App_mode=Display_Statute&URL=0400-0499/0466/Sections/0466.0282.html)). There are 12 recognized specialties, and general and cosmetic dentistry are not among them ([National Commission](https://ncrdscb.ada.org/recognized-dental-specialties)).

### Fees and discounts need disclaimers

Any advertised fee must be stated as a minimum fee only and tied to the specific ADA procedure code, and discounted or free offers must state their dates ([Rule 64B5-4.003](https://www.flrules.org/gateway/RuleNo.asp?id=64B5-4.003)).

### The responsible dentist must be identified

Florida rule 64B5-4.002 requires every ad to identify the Florida licensed dentist who takes responsibility for it ([Rule 64B5-4.002](https://www.flrules.org/gateway/RuleNo.asp?id=64B5-4.002)).

### Patient photos and stories need consent

Before-and-after photos, video testimonials, and patient stories are used only with written authorization, and we never confirm in a reply that a reviewer is your patient.

Patients can verify any Florida dentist’s license on the Department of Health’s [license verification search](https://mqa-internet.doh.state.fl.us/MQASearchServices/Home). We encourage practices to link to it, because transparency builds trust.

Working together
## What Your First 90 Days Look Like

We do not promise results we cannot control, and Florida law does not allow dental ads to promise them either. What we can promise is a clear plan, honest reporting, and work that compounds over time.

- ### Weeks 1 to 2: audit
We review your Business Profile, website, reviews, tracking, and current ads, and flag anything that conflicts with Florida advertising rules.
- ### Weeks 3 to 6: foundation
Business Profile and practitioner profiles cleaned up, service and treatment pages written or improved, call and form tracking installed, and a review request process started.
- ### Weeks 7 to 10: growth
Treatment-focused content, recall and reactivation emails, and, if it fits your goals, targeted paid search for high-value services.
- ### Weeks 11 to 13: report and plan
A plain-language report on calls, booked appointments, reviews, and rankings, and a clear plan for the next quarter.

Questions practices ask
## Dental Marketing Questions, Answered Honestly

How do dental practices get more new patients?

Most new patients come from three places: a referral, a Google search, or a review they read before calling. In the ADA’s 2024 consumer survey, 47% chose their dentist through a referral from friends or family and 59% said reviews affect their choice ([ADA](https://www.ada.org/-/media/project/ada-organization/ada/ada-org/files/about/press-releases/2024_trend_report.pdf)). The practical work is a complete Google Business Profile, a steady flow of honest reviews, and a website that answers questions about insurance, cost, and booking.

Is dental SEO worth it for a single-location practice?

Usually, yes, because most patients look for a dentist close to home and the Map Pack is where they look. Local SEO for one location is mostly about accuracy and consistency: the same name, address, phone, and hours everywhere, real photos, service pages for what you actually offer, and reviews that keep coming in. It compounds over months rather than weeks.

How long does dental marketing take to show results?

Fixes to your Business Profile, tracking, and website can show up within weeks. Organic rankings and review growth typically build over several months. We report calls, booked appointments, and reviews every month so you can see what is changing, and we will not promise a ranking or a number of patients, because no one can honestly guarantee either.

Can I call myself a cosmetic dentist or an implant specialist in Florida?

Cosmetic dentistry is not a recognized dental specialty, and implant dentistry is not either ([National Commission](https://ncrdscb.ada.org/recognized-dental-specialties)). A general dentist may promote those services, but Florida requires the specialty disclaimer set out in section 466.0282 ([Florida Legislature](http://www.leg.state.fl.us/statutes/index.cfm?App_mode=Display_Statute&URL=0400-0499/0466/Sections/0466.0282.html)). Only dentists with qualifying training in one of the 12 recognized specialties may present themselves as specialists.

Can we use patient reviews and before-and-after photos in our marketing?

Yes, with care. Use patient photos, videos, and stories only with written authorization. When you reply to an online review, do not confirm that the reviewer is a patient or mention any treatment, even if they did. A short, polite reply that invites them to call the office is the safe pattern.

Can we advertise prices or a new patient special?

You can, as long as the ad follows Florida’s fee rules. An advertised fee is stated as a minimum, tied to the specific ADA procedure code, and a discounted or free offer must state the dates it applies ([Rule 64B5-4.003](https://www.flrules.org/gateway/RuleNo.asp?id=64B5-4.003)). Because cost is the most common reason adults delay dental care ([ADA](https://www.ada.org/-/media/project/ada-organization/ada/ada-org/files/about/press-releases/2024_trend_report.pdf)), clear pricing information done correctly can be a real advantage.

Should we focus on older patients in Naples?

For most Naples practices it is worth real attention. In the City of Naples, 55.8% of residents are 65 or older ([U.S. Census Bureau](https://www.census.gov/quickfacts/fact/table/colliercountyflorida,naplescityflorida/PST045224)), and nationally 63.7% of adults 65 and older had a dental visit in the past year ([CDC NCHS](https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/products/databriefs/db500.htm)). Clear pages on implants, dentures, restorative care, and insurance help those patients choose with confidence.

Do you work with practices outside Naples?

Yes. We are based in Naples with an office in Manhattan, and we work with general, pediatric, orthodontic, surgical, and cosmetic practices across Southwest Florida and in other states. Outside Florida we check that state’s dental advertising rules before anything is published.
